项目简述：该项目从野生种植的薯芋植物——黄姜资源里提取皂素，进一步合成制作消炎、抗菌、抗肿瘤、激素类等药品。

项目实施依据：当前国内、外市场对用皂素提取的各类药品需求量很大，国内每年以6%，国际每年以10%的需求量递增，同时种植黄姜生产皂素时科技含量高，符合国家的产业政策，其经济效益相当可观，同时可增加农户收入，促进当地的经济发展，开发该项目可达到经济效益与社会效益双赢。

建设地点的自然条件和社会经济情况简述：在曲靖境内的罗平、师宗、马龙、沾益、富源、宣威及周边地区兴义市等县、市现有种植黄姜9万亩和发展种植35万亩到100万亩，具有巨大种植潜在条件，加之开发区内基础设施完善，配套齐全，水、电资源充足并完成项目外围的道路、排水、供水、电力、电信、有线电视管线等基础设施工程，当地劳动力丰富，各类科研人员齐备。

建设规模：拟132亩 

项目前期准备工作及进展情况：目前已完成项目建设初步论证和可行性研究报告。项目选址、水电供应配套、政策支持等项目建设工作已做好。

初步经济效益分析：投资预算建设1.9亿元，正式投产后，项目经营期第一年销售收入即可达到26547.20万元人民币，达到预定生产规模时年销售收入为33184万元。

Brief Description of the Project: The project is to extract saponin from Dioscorea zingiberensis, a tuber plant grown in the wild, and further synthesized into anti-inflammation, antibiotics, and anti-tumor and hormone drugs.

Basis for Implementation of the Project: Presently, there are large demands for various medicines extracted from saponin on the Chinese market and the international market. To be specific, the Chinese market demand has been increasing by 6% per year, while the international market demands have been increasing by 10% per year. Simultaneously, it involves hi-tech content to plant the Dioscorea zingiberensis and produce saponin, which is in line with the national industrial policy. The economic returns are quite considerable, and it may also increase the farmers’ incomes and promote local economic development. Developing the project may achieve win-win of economic returns and social benefits.

Brief Introduction to the Natural Conditions and Socioeconomic Conditions of the Construction Site: Presently, 90,000 mus of Dioscorea zingiberensis has been grown in Luoping, Shizong, Malong, Zhanyi, Fuyuan and Xuanwei under Qujing City and such neighboring counties and cities as Xingyi City, and there are potentials to develop into 350,000 to 1,000,000 mus of planting. Moreover, the development zone has complete infrastructures and supportive facilities, sufficient water and power resources. The roads, drainage, water supply, power supply, telecommunications, and cable TV and such other infrastructure works have been finished around the project site. Labor is sufficiently available locally, and there are complete range of technicians.

Construction Content:

Construction Scale: 132 mus are planned.

Brief Description of Process Technology Plan: Presently, preliminary demonstration of the project construction and feasibility study report has been finished. Project site selection, utilities (water and power) supply, policy supports and such other project construction jobs have been conducted.

Preliminary Analysis about Economic Returns: The budgeted construction investments will be 190 million RMB. Once it is officially put into operation, the sales revenue in the first year of operation will reach 265.472 million RMB. Once it reaches the expected production scale, the sales revenue could be as high as 331.84 million RMB.

Patterns of Cooperation: solely-foreign invested venture, cooperative venture or equity joint venture.
